Ghyabi Lassiter & Associates, Inc. (GLA) was retained by the Tilloo Corporation to determine the traffic impact the proposed Hammock Ridge Unit III development would have on area roadways. At full build-out, Hammock Ridge Unit III development will generate 1174 daily trips. Therefore, the study area for this project included all roadway segments in which site generated traffic accounted for 5% or more of the adopted Maximum Service Volume. The east-west distribution on Archer Road was based on the existing travel patterns of motorists accessing SW 10th Street. SW 10th Street provides access to Hammock Ridge Units I & II, as well as, other residential developments. The results of the analysis revealed that all of the roadway segments in the study area will operate at an acceptable level of service with total construction of the Hammock Ridge Unit ill development with future traffic consuming 84 percent of the adopted Maximum Service Volume.
