The
study combined three studies of specific transport or transport
related problems in Guyana. The Vehicle Weight Control element presented
analyses of heavy vehicle weight and transport characteristics; assessment of various axle-load enforcement strategies; and a
recommended
approach for weight control enforcement. A minimum Transport
Investment Plan was recommended based on the review of past and proposed
future plans as well as likely local and external fuming resources.
Guyana's Supply and Demand of Critical Construction Materials
for projects programmed over the following four years was analyzed and
it was found that Guyana had the ability to meet annual demands from
existing local sources at their then- present rate of production. |
