The Traffic Analyzer TA-20 is a functional replacement for the Traffic Analyzer TA-1. It collects travel time data in the field in a format compatible with the Cassette Reader Intelligent Terminal (CRIT) program(McTRANS Volume 2). The TA-20 was a more economical means of data collection because it used the technology of the 1980's instead of the 1970's. These instructions assumed familiarity with the operation of the APPLE, the EPSON HX-20 and the CRIT Program. This volume of microcomputer programs was developed at the Transportation Research Center, University of Florida. Technical and financial support was provided by the City of Tampa, The State of Florida Bureau of Highway Safety and the Federal Highway Administration.
