A major element of the transit study was the conduct of an on-board survey of JTA riders. Information was obtained on travel origins and destinations, rider characteristics and patrons' attitudes and views toward JTA service. Three separate surveys were conducted to provide an inventory of weekday, Saturday and Sunday riders. This report represented the initial submission which highlighted study methods and results.
